Dubose Leadership & Legacy Scholarship

I AM RARE Foundation aims to continue our work in the Plainfield Community and provide a scholarship to our girls who are furthering their education through college or career training. 
In honor of Jacynth Johnson's mentor, Vernell Dubose, and her legacy of service (serving over 35 years in non-profit and educational work) we've awarded three scholarships, totaling $1,500, to three young women who participated in and served RARE Academy and exemplifies leadership.

Dayrin Santos will be attending Kean University for Medical Diagnostic Sonography.

Kayla Ayala will be attending Union County College in Cranford, NJ and will study Radiology.

Anette Narvaez will be attending Kean University and will study Biomedical Engineering.
